According to the mythology, Lousios river is where Zeus used to bathe himself. It is a 5km hike so not too big a strain on the less active among you. There are various trails one can follow and you will cross the bridge which crosses the Lousios River. The Lousios gorge is dotted not only with breathtaking natural sights, but also with remarkable monasteries emerging from the rocks.
Moreover, you can see churches, hermitages, sketes and stone bridges that are in harmony with the beautiful natural environment. The paths of Lousios Gorge have been reconstructed so as to be easily accessible. Route begins at Water Power Museum, where a detailed trail map is available. The exit of the gorge is situated at the village of Hellenikon, where you will be picked up by your driver.
